1. Project Scope & Estimates
All home remodeling and design estimates provided by Secure Care 4 Home are valid for a period of 30 days. Final project costs may be subject to adjustment based on unforeseen structural discoveries (e.g., mold, outdated wiring, or plumbing issues) or significant fluctuations in market material costs such as lumber or specialized smart home hardware.
2. Payment Schedule
Unless otherwise negotiated, a standard payment schedule involves an initial deposit to secure the project date, progress payments at specific milestones (e.g., completion of framing or electrical), and a final "punch-list" payment upon project completion. Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of work to protect project resources.
3. Access to Property & Site Safety
Clients agree to provide our team and verified subcontractors access to the work site during agreed-upon hours. For the safety of residents and our crew, clients are requested to keep children and pets away from active construction zones. Secure Care 4 Home commits to maintaining a clean and respectful work environment at the end of each workday.
4. Change Orders
Any requests for additions or alterations to the original signed contract must be documented in a written "Change Order." This document will outline any changes to the project timeline and the adjusted costs, ensuring total transparency before the new work begins.
5. Warranty & Liability
We provide a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on all structural installations. For smart home devices and appliances, the respective manufacturer’s warranties apply. Secure Care 4 Home is an installation expert and is not liable for software malfunctions or data breaches occurring on third-party smart device cloud platforms.
6. Permitting & Local Compliance
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the contract, Secure Care 4 Home will manage the filing of local building permits required for major renovations. This ensures all work meets New York state safety codes and passes necessary municipal inspections for your long-term protection.
7. Project Delays & Force Majeure
While we strive for precision in our timelines, Secure Care 4 Home is not liable for delays caused by factors outside of our control, including extreme weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or delayed municipal permit approvals. We will communicate any timeline shifts immediately.
8. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the agreement should the other party fail to fulfill their contractual obligations. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed and materials purchased up to the date of termination.
